Our Background
 Liberty Travel was formed in 1986 initially under the name LL Travel, LL being the initials of the company's founder, Lionel Landman. Lionel was one of the founders of Jetset, which, from humble beginnings, became one of Australia's largest travel operators.

  Helen Sheppard has worked in the travel industry since 1991. She joined Liberty in 1997 primarily as a senior consultant. Her previous roles were in the UK and Hong Kong. After 5 years as a senior consultant with Liberty, Helen seized the opportunity to take over the running of Liberty Travel. With a strong work ethic and a vested interest in the company Helen enjoys getting to know her clients and ensuring they have a positive travel experience. With a passion for travel since childhood, Helen has travelled extensively in South East Asia, as well as Europe, North Africa, Australia and the Pacific. This love of travel combined with dedication, resourcefulness and great management skills have driven the Liberty Travel success.

 We aim to provide our clients with the very best of service on a personal basis. We are committed first and foremost to the service of our clientele. We are aware of the importance of favourable word of mouth between existing clients and potential new ones and therefore we strive to retain a satisfied client base.

Whilst ensuring our clients receive competitive airfare and hotel rates, as well as useful help and information, when they deal with us, we also believe that our commitment doesn't end at point of sale. We answer all queries as soon as possible and as well as operating between flexible business hours for our clients, we are also available 24/7 to assist our clients, should they need our help while they are away.

With a passion for travel, Helen has explored South East Asia, as well as Europe, North Africa, Australia and the Pacific. This passion, her dedication and management skills ensure Liberty Travel's success.
